We buy books that we feel we can resell. You will earn a percentage (25%) in credit of the price that we expect to make from the books. Our decision on the worth of a book includes, but is not limited to: desirability, market value, in-print price, condition and our current stock.
Book Criteria
Please realize that a used book is only worth a fraction of what it was new. Having said that, the credit we will issue for a book will be reduced if it has writing inside or other defects.
We do not accept/give credit for any of the following:
· Encyclopedia sets (There are a few exceptions and we'd be happy to look at yours)
· Family bibles
· Political books (they tend to go out of season very fast)
· Book club editions
· Series Romance (Harlequin, etc.)
· Magazines
· Old dictionaries
· Used gaming books (crossword, soduku, etc.)
· Any book in poor condition
o A poor condition book has one or more of the following problems: a broken spine, broken hinges, underlining/notes, loose pages, missing media, mold, water damage, odor and hardcover books missing their jackets.
Credit
Credit earned on the exchange of used books is only good for other used books from the shelf or prepared food or drinks from The Next Page Café. All credit stays good for one year from the date of issue. No cash is exchanged for used books at this time. The minimum amount we will issue in credit is $2.00.
Final Price
We do not negotiate a price, the price given is the only available credit for the books you’ve shown us.
Drop Off & Pick Up
After you drop off your books we will do our best to get back to you within one working week. Please make sure you fill out all your information so we can easily contact you.
After drop off you'll be asked to fill out a form that is basically identical to this that asks for basic contact information and acknowledgment of our terms.
If you do not return within 30 days after drop off to pick up your books or credit then your books may be discarded and any credit you may have earned will be forfeit. We will not warehouse your books!
