Winner of our 2006 Get Caught Reading Contest!

December 2007

These Adams Central High School students celebrated the spirit of giving by wrapping 40 children’s books donated by The Next Page Bookstore and Scholastic.

All the wrapped presents were then given to the Bread of Life Food Pantry for children and families in need.

Our first official Open Mic Night! It was a lot of fun and drew out a lot of unexpected talents from around town. For more pictures check THIS out. Open Mics continue to run every month on the last FRIDAY of the month.

Author Kenneth Rogers Jr. stopped in to sign his newest novel "Writing in the Margins" and give a short talk on writing.  He was a lot of fun to have in the store and we hope to have him again! You can see his site HERE.

Author Joe Krom came down during the Kekionga Festival to talk about his book "Heart of a Warrior" and give us a bit of a history lesson. He was absolutely fascinating and was a greatly enjoyed speaker. Run over to his site HERE.

Author Jeri Westerson stopped by and signed her new novel for us and all the egar customers. Her first
novel "Veil of Lies" was met with praise and accliam
from critics, so to have her stop by with the
sequal "Serpent in the Thorns" and all her medevil weaponry was a great treat! Check out her

November 2009

The store was filled with Christmas music from local artists like Tom Hedrick, Jamie Shoup, and Patty Joe. Lil Lynn had in her chocolate fountain and even Santa dropped in for a bit! The 2009 Christmas Open House around town was a great success and a lot of fun for everyone getting into the season's spirit. Check out some more pictures HERE.
